Since its creation, F. Chauvenet has reflected its attachment to and respect for the Burgundian terroir in the making of its wines.
Bright red garnet. Delicate aromas of cherry and coffee with subtly integrated toasted notes. Appealing and fruity with delicate toasted notes and a medium body. Flavours of chocolate are emphasized by a hint of menthol, lying on silky tannins. The finish is long with assorted fruit flavours and a subtle touch of oak.
The perfect match for all meats, barbecues, pizzas and assorted vegetables.

Ready to drink as soon as they are bottled, "Vins de France" are not made to be kept for years.
100% Pinot Noir.
Cold maceration to begin with, then the temperature was increased slowly to 30°C. extraction by punching of the cap and pumping over the must… Pressing and blending of the free-run and press wines. Maceration with different wood-fired oak barrels brings sweetness, length, toast… One third of the wine was aged in barrels.
“Vins de France” can be produced throughout the whole of France using grapes harvested exclusively within its borders. This quite new appellation (2009) allows for a greater liberty in winemaking compared to the appellation system. It is a great opportunity for our winemaker to express his skills with a wine with a steady style and unique personality.
