Color: Intense red.
Nose: Offers the traditional aromas of the Pinot Noir grape variety, small red and black fruits such as wild blackberry, dry prune and blackcurrant, the terroir brings wild notes.
Palate: Powerful and generous, generally tannic and very supple.
Marsannay reds are natural partners for red meats: beef blade or rib steak, or flank steak with shallots. Try them with freshwater fish (pike, pikeperch, even stuffed carp) or vegetable stirfries, game fowl, and cheeses made from cow’s milk.
Serve from 15 to 17 °C.
Marsannay wines can be kept between 3 and 8 years.

Grapes are hand-picked, passed over a sorting table, crushed, de-stemmed, then vatted for about 15 days and matured in oak barrels for about 12 months.
Appellation village of the Côte de Nuits. Marsannay is the northernmost appellation and is often considered to be the "Golden Gate" of the Côte de Nuits. The appellation extends over the communes of Chênove, Marsannay-la-Côte and Couchey, covering approximately 240 hectares, 185 hectares of which are devoted to red wines. Marsannay has the particularity of being the only village appellation that groups together red, white and rosé wines.
